Andy Reid is fat and confused

Filling in for an injured Donovan McNabb for 2 games at the beginning of last season, Kevin Kolb made such an impression on the Eagles brass they traded away McNabb, who had led the Eagles for over a decade since being taken with the second overall pick in the 1999 draft.  McNabb was traded for future 2nd and 4th round picks to make room for Kolb, the quarterback of the future in Philly, this off season.  Following Kolb's concussion in week 1, Mike Vick made a triumphant return to football and has had two solid weeks filling in for Kolb.  Andy Reid announced this week that Vick will remain the starting quarterback for the foreseeable future. This seems unbelievably short-sighted by Reid.  He is leaving his quarterback of the future on the bench to try and ride a temporary hot streak by 30 year old QB who has a career passing rating of 76.8.  His career passing rating is less then Hall of Fame locks Charlie Batch and Byron Leftwich.  I can't think of another time in sports where I have seen a coach trade away the face of the franchise to make room for the future face of the franchise and then bench him for an aging and average quarterback.  Perhaps Andy is just confused, trying to find which one of the guys below is him.

Wait, here Andy is.
