A$$ Whooping of the Week (Turkey Day Edition)

Jock Talk is back from a bye week, which means it is time for an A$$ Whooping.  While I typically don't like to beat someone when they are down, there just isn't any other option for this weeks award.  Without further ado, i give you Kyle Brotzman.
Kyle is Boise State kicker who is now famous for missing two easy field goals, destroying Boise State's undefeated season and Kellen Moore's Heisman campaign.  The purse form Boise State's BCS game was expected to be around 8 million dollars, at this point they will be lucky if they earn 1 million.  Brotzman's first missed field goal came as time expired.  The ball was around the 5 yards line, making the attempt nothing but a glorified extra point.  The Blue Man Group got the ball first in overtime and after failing to get a first down, Boise was forced to send Brotzman back onto the field.  Kicking and Golf are probably the most mentally controlled actions in sports.  Golfers can lose their stroke, and kickers can lose their foot.  On the sideline between his first missed field goal and his second attempt, Brotzman lost it.  I'm pretty sure you look at the replays of him on the bench, he is literally pissing himself with fear.  The attempt in overtime may as well have been from 75 yards out against gale force winds.

Kyle wanted no part of that second kick.  Considering he removed Boise State from any Title game and most BCS conversation, Kyle is my MVP, but because he sucks at kicking he is also our recipient this week.  Congratulations Kyle, you earned.
