- Mike Vick made a triumphant return to football in a loss to the Packers. Better late than never Mike. We are still waiting on his brother Marcus's triumphant return.
- The season opened with an unexpectedly low scoring game in New Orleans. Minnesota needs Sidney Rice back ASAP and the Saints need avoid the Super Bowl hangover.
- The Jets and Chiefs both opened Monday night with atrocious offensive performances. A special teams touchdown was the difference as the Chiefs emerged victorious while the J-E-T-S Jets flopped when their tight end ran out of bounds short of the first down on the final play.
- The Texans beat the Colts on Sunday despite a tremendous game by Peyton Manning. The Colts are an old team with a sub-par offensive line. Could the team be in decline? More to come after week 2.
- Darren McFadden!

Apparantly they play football on Sundays (Week 1)
Week 1 of the NFL season is in the books! I can summarize the Week 1 outcomes in 1 sentence: Unless your team sucks or Mark Sanchez is your Quarterback you won your home opener. There were some interesting games along the way though.
